IPMS-USA Region 13 Coordinator

Hello

I began making scale models when I was about 9 years old, and I am 53
today. Way back then, I was fascinated by the challenge of
assembling those wonderful models into the aircraft I so much loved.
Since then I have continued modeling scale replicas of almost
everything you can imagine. Ever since I have developed skills and an
acute eye for perfection, (that is the perfectionist syndrome), that
had let me to the level of detailing I do in all my models today.
Likewise, the advancement in technology have led me to enter the
often dreaded world of electronics and motorizing. I have developed
the fine art of illuminating, motorizing and adding sound effects to
my models. This is one of the most rewarding aspects of master
modeling and I encourage everyone to try it!

Throughout my modeling career I have built several hundred models,
of which only about 50 remain with me today. Like all master
modelers, I have more than 300 models in stock to be built someday.
However, more than half that will end up being sold on EBay after I
pass away….

Currently I’m a Chief Master Sergeant in the PR Air National Guard
and serve as the Human Resources Advisor to the Adjutant General
for Air. I’ve been involved with the Air Force for over 35 years and
that has led me to operational experience in four different aircraft,
hence also, have had the chance to be up-close-and-personal with
them. That experience has enhanced my modeling abilities with
knowledge of details that are often not seen in pictures or the web.

I preside the IPMS-PR chapter and concurrently I’m also the IPMS-USA
Region 13 Coordinator. These two positions give the advantage of
seen the big picture of the IPMS world and give me the opportunity to
better add value to the modeling art in my club.

The following are few images of some of my models for you to enjoy.
